We Love the Earth!

We are Earth Saving Superheroes!

This week we learned about the Earth and celebrated Earth Day!

We made Earth Saving Superhero masks and filled out badges with what we can do to help the earth and completed an Earth Day I Spy counting game!

We planted flowers and are practicing putting our knowledge to work by watering them each day and making sure they get lots of sunlight!

And on Thursday we finally got to do what we have been talking about all week (taking care of the Earth) and went outside to pick up some trash!!! We filled up two grocery bags in less than 10 minutes!!! Kind of sad really BUT we were all so glad we did it! It was even said that "This is the best Earth Day Ever!"

We journaled about our Caterpillar friends and watched them get bigger and bigger each day this week!

Along with learning all about plants and gardening we had a special visit from the Creve Coeur Police department! We met Officer Brooke and K9 unit Frizbi!
