Week 1!
We did it! We nailed our first week of Pre-K! And what an amazing week it was! Fay and I are amazed at how great this group plays together! Firstly! Happy Birthday, Maura! We spent most of this week understanding our new schedule. There are some parts where we will see a rhythm. For example, when we wake up from rest we: put away sheets and mats, go to the bathroom, wash our hands, and eat snack. And then there are other parts where we will always have to look at the schedule to see what is next because it is different every day. Overall, everyone did a great job being flexible! Every morning, when the weather is nice, we spend the first 30 minutes outside playing with our friends! Every day we had the opportunity to play in the classroom with no limits on what toys we could get out: We took some silly pictures for our new class Pete the Cat Rocking in His School Shoes book: On Monday we went to Art with Miss Tara! And on Thursday we went to the Big Room! A class favorite!...
