Arctic Unit

This week we learned about the Arctic! During centers this week we enjoyed painting with puff paint to make an arctic scene then glued on all kinds of different arctic animals from our class book. The new class book we read was "Who likes the cold?" A fun activity around the classroom was an arctic word search! The fox friends had fun searching then copying the words on their papers. What a great way to practice our letters and searching skills!!  

Finally, we wrote in our journals about what we would do if we were penguins! There were tons of great answers! I know I would want to wobble around and smile at my friends!

                          We also worked on matching our uppercase and lowercase letters!
