Our Wonderful Names!

Firstly...

Happy Birthday, 

Leo!

AND

Happy Birthday,

Rayan!

We took lots of time this week learning all about our names and practiced being respectful when learning each other's names. Everyone's name was given to them for a special reason and this week we focused on the importance of that and how to show respect to other people for that reason. Thank you for your help teaching us!

We worked very hard on writing our names with only 1 upper case letter (the kindergarten way)!

We used q-tips, colored pencils, water colors and dobbers to write our names:

We used watercolors to find our hidden names on white paper:

We practiced writing the letters in our name on individual pieces of paper and then used them to create name foxes!

This week for journals, the class was given a free choice about what to draw:

We had a great time in the garden finding herbs and peppers, playing in the fairy garden and digging in the dirt:

In Art we made fall stamp art and painted textures!
