Recycling & Upcycling!
Firstly, look at all the Fox class love! 💗 This week we dove even deep into the topic of helping save our planet by discussing: Recycling & Upcycling!!! One of our favorite videos of a recycling center featured an old favorite of Miss Erica's, Reading Rainbow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX55cKJvg-g After watching the video and playing a few online recycling games to learn how to sort recyclable items, we decided to go outside for snack and enjoy the beautiful weather and then pick up some litter we found! We noticed how it felt good to help the Earth! We made up-cycled paper towel monsters like Murray on Sesame Street https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M2_Z0sW4nQ We also journaled about our caterpillars turning into chrysalises and what we think they will look like when they come out, and we played an Earth day dice game: Thursday the Foxes visited tables with hearing, vision, fine motor and gross motor tools to explore in the gym to learn about LECC Abilities Day!
